A space for UTK students to grow, connect, and thrive.
BridgeUTK is a student-led organization at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. We’re dedicated to networking, professional growth, and building a supportive community. From hands-on workshops to unforgettable socials, we help UTK students grow in and outside the classroom.
BridgeUTK is an official chapter of BridgeUSA. We strive to create a solution-oriented, multipartisan political culture on campus. We envision a future of civilized, and constructive dialogue with a wide diversity of viewpoints. As future leaders, change starts with us. Our goal is not to force agreement or create centrists, but to encourage young minds to think about how to create a better political future.

Executive board members get an all-expenses-paid trip to Summit every summer. At Summit, we hear from speakers such as Andrew Yang and Chris Evans about their experiences, as well as meet and learn from other chapter leaders. It's often a great opportunity to meet potential employers and make new friends. Past Summit locations include Chicago, Orlando, and Indianapolis. If you are interested in such a trip, it is highly encouraged to apply for the executive board.

Our chapter offers our professional network to make it easier for members to land internships. BridgeUTK partners with many professors and works closely with both the Baker School of Public Policy and the Political Science Department. Our goal is to provide opportunities for you to improve your resume — whether it be through writing for our newsletter, doing research with a professor, or landing an internship.
